Use Pave-Tex to repair and resurface paved driveways, parking lots, playgrounds, tennis courts or any other surface that requires the texture and durability of asphalt. Finally, a solution without the hassle of heavy machinery and bitumen vapours in your front yard!

Pave-Tex products can be applied to concrete surfaces as well to get the colour and texture of new asphalt. Imagine resurfacing your tennis court yourself with a roller!

To repair your paved driveway with Pave-Tex in a durable manner, simply follow these easy steps:

Step 1 – Surface Preparation

Trim the grass edges and clean up all dirt, dust and debris; then rinse the asphalt area using the strongest water jet possible.

Step 2 – Cleaning oil stains

Scrub any stains with a stiff wire brush and TexNov’s Surface Prep. This will remove any existing motor oil stains and other dirt, and TexNov’s Surface Prep will prevent the stain from returning to the surface after the new coat is applied. Ask your retailer or contact us to find out how to get it to your home quickly.

Step 3 – Trowel Crack Filling

Locate any existing cracks. Use TexNov’s Crack Filler for cracks up to three-quarters of an inch wide. The Crack Filler comes in three sizes, choose the one that fits the condition of your paved driveway:

– 8 kg to seal up to 65 linear feet (3/4” wide)
– 15 kg to seal up to 121 linear feet (3/4” wide)
– 20 kg to seal up to 162 linear feet (3/4” wide)

Fill the crack to the brim and allow the product to cure according to label directions, normally up to eighteen hours. For larger cracks, use a specific product to seal potholes, tamp them down and fill the hole to the brim. By following this technique, there will be a minimum of shrinkage before applying the sealer as a finishing coat.

Apply the crack filler with a putty knife or a trowel.

Step 4 – Application of Pave-Tex textured coating

The final step in repairing any paved driveway is here: apply two coats of Pave-Tex with a brush or roller. So easy and so durable! You can use the brush to trim the edges of your driveway and the roller for the large surface.

Choose the appropriate format according to the area to cover, among the following formats:

– 10 KG for two coats of surfaces up to 120 sq. ft
– 18 KG for two coats of surfaces up to 216 sq. ft
– 25 KG to make two coats of surfaces up to 300 sq. ft

Follow instructions carefully for drying times. Pave-Tex is hand dry within an hour of application, and ready for a second coat within two hours. Wait a few days before parking your car on the paved driveway repaired with Pave-Tex.

Pave-Tex will restore the look and feel of new asphalt in a matter of hours, and its results will last for ten years. Be sure to cover the entire surface evenly.

The advantage of the texture is that it creates a space between the car tires and the asphalt surface. In addition, the acrylic polymer formulation creates a layer that captures and retains oils from the asphalt, protecting your asphalt from UV rays, which is one of the causes of accelerated wear on your paved driveway.

Pay attention to the drying time on the product sheet and don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions!
